The Story A young couple wants nothing more than to have a child. The woman sees a shooting star and makes a wish. Out of the sky comes Galeon, a mecha lion. It opens its mouth to reveal a child. The woman names the boy Mamoru and raises him as her own. Eight years later the boy's powers are revealed when he is attacked by a Zondar robot. With the help of Shishio and the Gaigar mecha they destroy the robot, and Mamoru becomes a member of the Geo-id Guard. Gao Gai Gar toys were made by several companies. Takara made the most. These included 10 transforming G-x mecha. Yujin and Kotobukiya each produced two mecha, and Kaiyodo made a Gao Gai Gar mecha. |
