The Venoc Vipers have excellent statistics with the exception of their defense which is nonexistent. They simply must attack first and destroy the enemy or be torn to shreds. On the bright side, they have a very high movement and a good attack value. They also have the Slither ability so they are not slowed down by moving into water. Most importnatly they have the frenzy special ability which allows them to take extra turns! They also are very inexpensive. This allows you to field them in large numbers. Obvious combinations are the Glyph of Jalgard to increase their defense so they are not torn up with ranged fire, and the Glyph of Astrid to their attack is even more effective.
