M.A.N.T.A. Force was made by Bluebird Plc, who the creators of Mighty Max and Polly Pocket. They were first released in 1987 and were produced through the early 90s. A comic, books, and lunch boxes were also made. Sadly neither the toys or the stories made it to the states. Like Mighty Max it featured lots of little parts and accessories. Over time many of these were lost and thus it is hard to find complete toys. The Story In the future Earth becomes overpopulated and polluted. The world government forms The Multiple Air Naval Terrain Assault Force, or Manta Force, to find a new Earth to colonize. However, the evil Viper Squad seeks to take over the Manta Force and colonize new Earth for themselves. |
