Necromunda is Games Workshop's futuristic urban skirmish game. It is based in the Warhammer 40k universe and takes place in the underworld of giant hive cities. Games Workshop also produces Necromunda's sister game called Mordheim, which is set in the Warhammer universe. Unlike Warhammer 40k, Necromunda features a full set of campaign rules including rules for gaining experience. It also has more detailed rules for wounding than Warhammer 40k. The basic game includes two full gangs, as well as multi-story buildings with gantrys. It includes rules for several gangs including: Goliath Orlock Cawdor Van Saar Escher A supplement called Outlanders was produced that added rules for several new gangs.
