This puzzle was made by Binary Arts in 1996. It was later revamped and released as Port to Port. The puzzle consists of 14 squares that are fixed in a rectangular tray, something like the old fifteen sliding tile puzzle. There are two more squares that are placed at the upper right of the rectangle, and two squares that are placed at the lower left of the rectangle. The rectangle can be slid laterally, thus changing the relative position of the squares that are above and below the puzzle. By pusing down on the upper tab, the two upper squares slide downwards to become part of the retangle and displace the two lowest squares that are directly beneath them, pushing them below the rectangle. This manuver also raises the lower tab (as the tabs are linked), and slides the squares on the lower left and raises them to become part of the rectangle, thus raising the two squares that are directly above them, pushing them above the rectangle. The object of the puzzle is to form the blue circle, align the three red dots, and to arrange the name Binary Arts. It is rather difficult, and thus any of these challenges can be taken up on their own to hone your skills.
