Virtual Toy Chest's Shockwave Hydrofoil Archive | |
In the early 90s Nikko released the Shockwave hydrofoil. To the best of my knowledge it was the first ready to run radio controlled hydrofoil. Being 1/30 scale it is fairly large for a toy boat. It runs on a standard 7.2 volt battery pack, and has a maximum speed of about 5 mph.
