Thunderbirds is the classic series by Gerry Anderson featuring supermarionation. It was released in 1964 and ran for several seasons. The special effects were created by Derek Meddings who later worked on the James Bond movies. Matchbox produced a set of figures and die-cast vehicles in 1992.
